Porsche Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package Nürburgring Lap

A prototype version of the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT, enhanced with the Weissach Package, broke a new record on the famous Nürburgring race track. The person behind the steering wheel, Kern, managed to complete a lap around the Nordschleife circuit in just 7:07.55. This achievement is not only notable for being 26 seconds quicker than Kern's previous best in a Taycan Turbo S (a version of the car that's already quite speedy, thanks to its performance package) recorded in August 2022, but it also sets a new benchmark for electric vehicles in mass production. Furthermore, this makes the Turbo GT the quickest four-door car across all engine types to ever race around the Nürburgring, demonstrating a blend of innovation, speed, and power.
