over this video with how to get a c11
elevator contractors' license. I know
right now you're automatically thinking
'oh this,' I have rarely seen anybody else
that builds them but hey you want to get
this elevator license here's how you do
it in seven easy steps. The first thing
is you have to have the necessary
experience. Now the state requires four
years, so you're going to need to know
things like planning an estimation
project, preparation, install, and
modernization of elevators dumbwaiters
and lips installed modernization of
escalators and moving walkways and
service. So those are the basic steps. Now
don't worry about that. Now, basically
we're going to provide you with the
necessary information and training so
that you can pass that exam. Okay the
second thing is, you got to get prepared
to pass those exams. Well look no further
than here, at the contractor license
school. So jump into some
brick-and-mortar school. We have seven
locations and growing throughout the
state of California. And also in case you
are not near one of our locations you
can do our entire online program where
you have access to videos, audio, test
taking scenarios, practice tests,
everything you need to pass your state
exam. Now that can be accessed anywhere
in the world. Anywhere that you have
internet: on a cell phone, iPad, or
computer. The third thing is you have to
fill out the application. And I recognize
that can be quite daunting. That's
usually the word we hear from
different contractors. But we want you to
know we're gonna help you with that
process. We're gonna walk you through
that step by step so you don't have to
worry about it. We make sure all the I's
are dotted and t's are crossed, all you need
to focus in on is going through our
program, reading and studying our
material and passing our tests. We even
have a past test guarantee, you pass our
test you're gonna pass the State Exam.
Number four, we also have where you're
going to need to go and pass the state
exams once you fill out the application.
They send you a letter, you get the
information of where you need to go to
take that State Exam, and you're going to
do both the law and the trade.
Each one is three and a half hours that
you get to take it so plan on being
there for about eight hours. But, again, we
prepare you for that. The number five
component here on the seven easy steps
is this get your surety bond. A surety
bond is an insurance policy that
protects your client for $15,000 that
cost you roughly about 100 to 150
dollars a year. You get that through an
insurance company. And hey, we're also a
consulting firm. So we are an insurance
company, as well. That can help you obtain
that surety bond number. Six, get your
live scanner. So once you get done at the
testing facility, they're gonna hand you
a piece of paper that shows you all the
locations that you can get that live
scan. You can do it at the police station,
you can do it at the UPS Store. And
here's the beautiful thing about that,
once you take that live scan they're
gonna automatically send that
information to the contractors' state
licensing board. So there's no paperwork
for you to process. Nothing for you to
send, you don't have to worry about it.
From there, now number seven. I believe, is
the single most important part of this
whole seven-step process, because usually
this is the part that people get stuck
on and that's this make it happen. You hear
there are a lot of dreamers in the world,
a lot of thinkers and wonders and people
who wish and hope and dream about
getting something done. But really the
people that are the most accessible in
life are those that take that very first
