The Queensland Maroons wrapped up the 2023 Series with an expansive attacking display in Games I and II last year, and I'm expecting more of the same on Wednesday night.

The speed and pass selection of Reece Walsh on the edges is sure to be a feature of the Maroons attack as they utilise the host of genuine ballplayers across the park. QLD have the cattle to fire consecutive shots within sets as they play coast-to-coast and feed the speed men on either edge.

The craft of Harry Grant out of dummy-half will ensure the Maroons also threaten through the middle of the field. Grant loves to follow late peelers out of the tackle and will punish NSW if they slide too quickly from the middle to protect their edges.

QLD have made a habit of scoring tries off kicks in recent series and that looks set to continue with aerial targets on both sides of the field. They've had so much success batting back kicks for a teammate waiting in behind the catcher that I've also tipped NSW to try something similar on Wednesday night.

Given the expected torrential conditions, the long kicking game of Daly Cherry-Evans will be a major factor and QLD's history of winning tight games comes into consideration, too.
