In this video here we check for proper pushrod length you need when using aftermarket engine parts. You will need an adjustable pushrod, valvetrain checking springs, a dry erase marker, a dial indicator for measuring valve lift, and a caliper large enough to measure the final pushrod length. In this video we are using 7/16" 20 rocker studs. There is a different measurement for using factory 3/8" 24 rocker studs.
This is being demonstrated on a LT1 engine from the 90's
