Lecture 02 : Origin of magnetic moment, Concept of Orbital and spin magnetic moment

This lecture includes introduction to the magnetic moment and how it arises in a atom.
It includes the concept of Orbital magnetic moment and spin magnetic moment produced by a electron.

It derives the formula used to calculate the orbital magnetic moment as well as spin magnetic moment.

Lecture also gives introduction to Orbital angular momentum as well as spin angular momentum and also explain their farmula used to calculate their values.

Lecture also includes the case of multi electron system and concept of resultant orbital as well as spin angular momentum quantum number. It also includes the introduction to J i.e. Resultant Angular momentum due to coupling of resultant spin angular momentum quantum number and resultant orbital angular momentum quantum number.
At last lecture introduced the spin only formula for the calculations of magnetic moment in complexes which is very important in competitive exams.
