When it comes to being an influencer, a criminal record cannot always be overshadowed by a viral video. Here are four shocking cases of entitled influencers, or so-called internet celebrities who were so out of touch with reality that they thought they were above the law.

On November 7th, 2022, Miami Beach police were called to The Goodtime Hotel following a disturbance report. The source of the disruption was identified as 26-year-old Nikita Nguyen, known professionally as Nikita Dragun, a well-known YouTube personality and beauty influencer. According to reports from guests and hotel staff, Nikita was seen walking around the pool area unclothed. Upon arrival, police were briefed by a security officer who claimed that Nikita had splashed water at him while he attempted to escort her back to her room.

On May 26th, 2023, in Orlando, police halted a white Mercedes trying to enter a pedestrian-only intersection. The officers noticed signs of intoxication from the driver, leading to a DUI investigation. The driver was identified as 27-year-old Isabel Bedoya, an influencer known for her work in beauty, wellness, and fashion on Instagram. Isabel did not comply with the officers' instructions and was subsequently arrested.

On August 8th, 2023, Miami Police were dispatched to the InterContinental Hotel after receiving a 911 alert about a man being held at gunpoint in his hotel room. Upon their arrival, the officers aimed to ensure his safety. In the hotel lobby, they were briefed by a private security guard who indicated that his client was the victim in need of assistance. While taking the elevator, the bodyguard disclosed that his client was Yousef Saleh Erakat, better known as FouseyTube, a prominent YouTube influencer. It was a hotel employee who had initially called 911 to report the situation.

On February 17th, 2023, the Herriman City Police were alerted to a domestic violence incident involving social media influencer, Taylor Frankie Paul. Officers were dispatched to the scene to investigate. Almost a year following her divorce, she was captured on camera crying following her arrest. The bodycam footage clearly showed Taylor's distress, recorded after a concerned neighbor had dialed 9-1-1. Herriman police officers reached the Paul residence to discover Taylor and her boyfriend, Dakota Mortenson, in the midst of a heated argument. Order was restored as officers separated the two and started questioning them.
