The All New Seiko Samurai SRPL13: Not A Samurai BUT It Is A $500 Winner: (Shogurai / Ronin Review)

Seiko has an amazing collection of iconic dive watches starting from the first 62MAS, the SKX, Captain Willard, Marinemaster 300, Sumo, Shogun, Tuna, and of course the Samurai. I have experienced each one of these watches and I love each one but when I heard that Seiko was releasing a smaller Samurai, I was instantly curious. My favorite MM200 GMT (SPB383) was an amazing size but to have a Samurai in a more wearable package was very appealing. However, it was immediately apparent that the design of the new Samurai (SRPL13) changed quite a bit which led to the name of Shogurai, a combination of Shogun and Samurai. So, is this new Samurai still a Samurai? In this video I’m going to get into the dimensions and what its like on the wrist, and all the details about the watch, like the case, dial, and the awesome bracelet.
