9-BALL: Steve MIZERAK vs Earl STRICKLAND - 16TH SANDS REGENCY OPEN FINALS 1992

Steve “The Miz” Mizerak and Earl “The Pearl” Strickland, in the finals of the 1992 Sands Open.

Two of the best players to ever hold a cue, facing off for first place in this event. Strickland had already beaten Mizerak once in this event, but “The Miz” was looking for redemption in the final.

Both of these players would go on to be inducted into the BCA Hall of Fame. While Mizerak had never won this event, Strickland had already  experienced quite a bit of success in Reno.

One race to fifteen to crown a winner.

Billy Incardona, Buddy Hall and Nick Varner were in the booth.
