Hi friends, in this video we are discussing about 'how to set standing instruction in SBI net banking'. If you are SBI net banking customer and you have registered in SBI net banking then you can easily set standing instruction in sbi.
To know 'how to set standing instruction in sbi net banking' you may watch this video. This process also applicable for 'how to set standing instruction for RD in SBI'.
If anyone ask 'what is standing instruction in banking'. Then you can say that if you have send money every month or a specific interval to other account. The account may be any savings, RD, Flexi deposit etc. Then you can set auto debit instruction to transfer money automatically for the selected period and instalment. This process is the standing instruction in banking.
If you want to know how to set SI in sbi then watch this video till end or follow the following steps. Before proceed to the process you need to add the account to which you wish to transfer fund to your sbi beneficiary list. I have already made video on this topic.
1. Go to SBI internet banking login page and login with your internet banking login user id and password.
2. After login to your account click on the option "Payment/Transfer".
3. Some other options will be displayed. If your account to whom you wish to transfer fund is your another SBI account then click on the option 'fund Transfer own SBI AC' if the account is owned by other person and it is in SBI then click on the option 'accounts of others-within SBI AC' and if the account is an other bank account then click on 'other bank transfer'.
4. In this step you need to select the debited account number, enter the amount and then select the credited account number. You have to select a purpose of transferring fund from the drop down menu also.
Now select the payment option as 'standing instruction'. As you select the standing instruction option a new form will be opened where you need to enter frequency, schedule payment every, number of payments and start date. Enter all the details correctly and click on 'submit'.
5. A POP up instructions will be displayed, it says that to avoid penalty ensure that sufficient money will available at the schedule date. Click on OK.
6. Now your standing instruction details will be displayed. Re-check the details and click on 'confirm'.
7. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number with bank. Enter the OTP and click on 'Confirm'.
8. Now your standing instructions will be set successfully and the details will also displayed in the screen.
