New 2022 Subaru Legacy - All You Need To Know About!!!
Subaru of America announced new pricing and upgrades are coming this summer for the 2022 Legacy sedan. While many automakers drop their sedan models, Subaru of America keeps the four-door model in its lineup of all-wheel-drive vehicles. For the 2022 model change, the Legacy gets new improvements and a modest price increase.
The latest upgrades come on the Sport and Premium trims. Shoppers looking for a new sedan will find the 2022 Legacy Sport now comes standard with blind-spot detection, a power moonroof, and reverse automatic braking. The popular 2022 Legacy Premium now features rear ventilation in the center console Subaru says will provide “better climate control throughout the cabin.”
What is the price of the 2021 Subaru Legacy?
The 2022 Legacy sedan comes in six trim levels. We have included the price increase on each trim after the new pricing. The 2022 midsize sedan starts at $23,955 (+$135) for the base trim, Premium ($26,205 +$135), Sport ($29,750 +$1,730), Limited ($30,905 +$85), Limited XT ($35,455 +$85), and Touring XT ($37,155 +$85). Destination is included in pricing above ($960 up from $925.)
All 2022 Legacy trims come standard with Subaru’s Symmetrical all-wheel-drive, EyeSight driver assist safety technology. Features include dual USB input ports in the front center console, and Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming connectivity.
The base, Premium, Sport, and Limited trims are powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 182 horsepower and 176 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with a Lineartronic CVT (continuously variable transmission) automatic with an 8-speed manual shift mode and steering wheel paddle shifters.
The Legacy Premium comes with an all-weather package, leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control system, and a 10-way power driver seat. Two additional USB charging ports are included in the rear section of the center console. The Premium comes standard with the tablet-style 11.6-inch touchscreen with STARLINK Multimedia Plus.
