ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਦੇ ਬਿਆਨ ‘ਤੇ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਮਦਮਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਬਿਆਨ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ। ਦੱਸ ਦੇਈਏ ਕਿ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੇ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ‘ਚ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਇੱਕ ਬਿਆਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਜਿੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਭੇਦਭਾਵ ਬਾਰੇ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।ਗਿ. ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਦੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਨੂੰ ਅਣਗੌਲਿਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ, ਨਾ ਹੀ ਰੱਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਹੱਕ ਹਕੂਕ, ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਤੇ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਕੁਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ 1947 ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਦਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਪੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਨੇਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਸੀ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਾਅਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰਾਉਂਦੇ ਇਹੋ ਆਖਿਆ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਇੱਕ ਐਸਾ ਖਿੱਤਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਜਿਹਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਡੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਹੱਕ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਰਹਿਣ।
