Today we share a Kerala Style Puttu recipe which is very tast and easy brrakfast recipe. And also very healthy.Puttu is basically a steamed rice flour and coconut log. Traditionally puttu was made in bamboo logs and this gave the puttu a lovely aromaPuttu is a heavy breakfast and keeps you full for some time. For the same reason, you can have this as a fulfilling brunch meal as well.
Spinach are full of benefits—they may promote healthy vision, balance your blood sugar, help with weight management, lower your risk of cancer, regulate blood pressure, reduce heart disease, improve immunity, and boost brain health. You won't regret incorporating more of this vegetable into your diet.
I make these soft kerala style puttu occasionally.I have used puttu podi available in the markets to make puttu. Putti podi is coarsely ground rice flour. You can even use store brought rice flour too. Just roast the rice flour lightly till you see steam coming from it before making puttu.
We are adding spinach to this recipe which gaves a colour and taste to this puttu.This is my favourite recipe among my breakfast recipes. No need of a side dish for this puttu.Some of the powerful health benefits of eating spinach are that this vegetable helps stabilise your blood glucose levels, helps in reducing your risk of developing cancer, prevents you from cancer and is good for bone health. One vegetable with so many health benefits is amazing and our ancestors were not wrong in propagating its uses for the human body. So adding this green to your healthy diet will benefit your health in multiple ways. Spinach’s nutrients include a variety of essential proteins for a healthy diet.
