Gymnastics Tumbling Vs Cheer Tumbling: What's The Difference?
There are many subtle & broad differences between cheer tumbling technique & gymnastics tumbling technique. While most non tumblers would assume gymnastics technique is the only & best way, I'd like to highlight the differences I've seen in my time as a gymnast, cheerleader, and coach for both. Understanding how each type of tumbler trains, what skills they must learn to be considered elite, & their mentalities above all else will help combine the best parts, get rid of the worst parts, and create the BEST tumbling technique!
