President Ramon Magsaysay Speech in Tagalog (c. 1950s)

A Tagalog speech spoken by Former Philippine President Ramon Magsaysay (1953-1957), recorded around the late 1950s. With Tagalog and (roughly translated) English subtitles.

Ramon Magsaysay is often regarded by many as one of the greatest presidents in Philippine history.

The audio was extracted from the 1966 NMPC Documentary "Appointment at Mount Manunggal". All photographs used in this video was taken from the Malacanang Presidential Museum and Library photo album of Ramon Magsaysay in Flickr. Footages were taken from several newsreels of the time.

This video was inspired by YouTube user Moving Pictures' upload of a similar video, however his channel has been made unavailable recently.
