San Diego: Human Smuggling Incident 02272024

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 2-27-24 5:45 am LOCATION: Sunset Cliffs Natural Park AREA/CITY: San Diego DETAILS: Someone spotted the 2 Personal Water Crafts (Jet skis) from the cliffs and called 911. The PWCs were in the surfline, and no one was present with them. Several footprints could be seen coming from the water's edge and up the beach towards the cliffs. This is a well-known area for human smuggling. These large PWCs can carry up to three people each. The U.S. Border Patrol and the U.S. Coast Guard have been notified.
