How to Wire Wrap & Weave a Basic Pendant

In this tutorial you'll learn how to wrap round wires together using a basic weaving pattern. You will also learn how to create a basic bail and capture your stone (or cabochon, which is the French word for a stone that has a flat back and no predrilled holes) so that it is secure.

You will need the following items to make this pendant:
4 lengths of 20 gauge round silver plated wire - 8 inches each
2.5 feet of 28 gauge round silver plated wire for weaving
An oval stone (mine is 1 inch tall and 3/4 inch wide)

Round nose pliers
Chain nose or tweezer nose pliers
Flush cutters
Nylon jaw pliers (optional)
