Welcome to today’s video on functions. Although people think function questions are simple, they can get pretty difficult. Fortunately, you can solve all of them easily as long as you know how to interpret a function notation.
In this video, we are going to go over 3 things
1. What you need to know
1. You want to know how to interpret a function notation. For instance, f(2) is referring to the y-value when the x-value is 2. As long as you can do this, you will be set for all of these function questions
2. How to recognize
1. If the question gives you a function and/or function notation, 100% chance that it’s a function related question
3. Three REAL SAT examples [easy, medium, hard]
1. The first two are easy because all you have to do is plug into the function. However, the third one is a bit more difficult as it requires a solid understanding of how the function notation works.
