Lara Trump sings cover song on Sky News Australia

The Right View host Lara Trump says she's not a professional singer but has recorded a cover of Tom Petty's 'I Won't Back Down.'

She notes she's always loved music and is excited about the song's release today in America.

"I'm sure I'll get a lot of critique from all the haters out there of my voice and my singing ability," Ms Trump told Sky News host Erin Molan.

"I'm very proud of what I've done.

"I think it's a great track and it's a new spin on a song that so many people know."
