In the late 19th century, gold was found and the town of Armilia sprung into existence. The town grew quickly and was eventually connected by rail to the rest of world by the Augusta & New Arcadia narrow gauge railroad.

Unfortunately, the boom was very short, and Armilia is now, a couple of decades later, just a shadow of what it once was.

In this video I create a diorama of a fictive, but realistic 19th century boomtown in the American West. The buildings are painted and converted kits from Kibri, while the building under construction is from Wild West Models. The car models are made by Artitec.

The models are in H0 scale and the diorama measures 55 x 20 cm or 22" x 8".
