Derby pie, also known as
Derby pie, also known as chocolate pecan pie, is a holiday favorite for us! We are always making these easy pies around the holidays!
Kentucky Derby Pie
Ingredients
-1/2 cup of sugar
-1/2 cup brown sugar
-2 eggs
-1 stick melted butter
-1 cup chopped pecans
-1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-1 unbaked 9” pie shell
Directions
Combine sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Add eggs, pecans, chocolate chips, and vanilla. Mix well. Pour in pie crust shell.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes
