Not all PC gamers are aware that they can use an FPS counter within the Xbox Game Bar program to monitor the FPS of their games on Windows 10. Microsoft included the FPS counter in the October 2019 update, and it might be useful if you want to know certain key performance metrics, such as the frames per second / FPS of your system when playing games.
The word FPS may be foreign to casual gamers. FPS is an essential performance metric, especially if you play a high-quality game like Cyberpunk 2070, Call of duty Warzone or any game for that matter.
The number of frames or pictures displayed on a PC monitor per second is referred to as FPS. When it comes to fast-paced, competitive games like Call of Duty Warzone, having an FPS higher than 60 FPS is preferred, although 60 FPS is also acceptable. When playing games that require quick reactions, anything slower than 60 frames per second should be avoided. The greater the FPS, the quicker and smoother your gaming activities will be.
To enable the installed FPS counter, make sure your Windows 10 operating system is fully updated. The built-in FPS counter was included by Microsoft as part of the October 2019 Xbox Game Bar update.
If you haven't already done so, you may manually upgrade your Windows 10 operating system now, and then install the Xbox Game Bar program from the Microsoft Store.
