In this week's podcast, I sat down with Mostaphe Abdikadir, a former Sheikh Secondary School (aka SOS) student who defied all odds. Mostaphe is one of the very few students who managed to secure a 4-year full-ride scholarship from a top-tier school in America, Berea College in Kentucky. Mostaphe is currently dual majoring in computer science and economics.
In this video, Mostaphe shares his story to educate students on the college application process and most importantly to inspire all Somali students and emphasize the importance of hardworking and perseverance.
