Chinglou is a real Taiwan local gourmet restaurant that even Michelin isn't aware of.
As the friend of the owner I got the chance to visit.
I've heard so many times that it's delicious, and my Hong Kong gourmet friend acknowledged it as delicious, so I really wanted to go there.
To me, it's much more tasty than most Michelin restaurants, Tim Ho Wan or Din Tai Fung, so my eyes popped out 👀!
Their signature menu grilled chicken dish here is very fresh. The skin is crispy and the lean meat is a soft and juicy.
I can't forget the Taiwanese bread stick fried YouTiao with shrimp dipped into sweet syrup.
The mild stinky tofu dish that even foreigners can eat is very delicious when eaten with fried pork belly and vegetables together.
In addition, the fried rice is delicious. It's an end game.
The cocktail called "龍飛鳳舞" with the heroic name of flying dragons and dancing phoenixes is a taste of forest bathing with the scent of pine trees, so make sure to try it.
