Botox for her TMD, for now...

A patient travels from Hawaii to see Dr. Nick for an opinion about her decades old TMD issues.  She's not a candidate for occlusal/bite adjustment therapy after Neural Occlusion screening, but we decide to use Botox to palliate her muscular symptoms until she can be seen for a consult by a TMJ surgeon.  It's not always about bites and treatment, it's all about diagnosis.  Proper diagnosis precedes responsible treatment, always... !
