Drowning prevention: Keeping children safe near or in water

Five important things to know about water safety whether your family is having a fun day of water activities or your little one is splashing in the bathtub. Please remember that drowning can happen in as little as 20 seconds, in water that is only 2.5 centimetres deep (about the diameter of a quarter).
