Pal System Kumagaya Center specializes in handling chilled products.To achieve radical improvements in warehousing and distribution of its products to members, Toyo Kanetsu Solutions guided the co-op with a innovative concept that completely ignores common sense understanding on order sequencing. To achieve these ends, two large Multishuttle systems were introduced along with Goods-to-Person (GTP) to eliminate needless walking.  Further the Branch Pick Director (BPD) helps eliminate waiting since order totes are sent only to the stations where the product to be picked is.  This seamless integration of man and machine helped dramatically improve productivity and reduce labor. With the introduction of our Warehouse Management System (WMS), all operational data in the center is available in real-time for quick decision making and insights toward even greater productivity gains.
