In this video, I share my blue cheese dressing for chicken wings and the best homemade bleu cheese salad dressing recipe. One of my all time favorites, blue cheese dressing is a very popular sauce, salad dressing and dip that first gained popularity in America. Blue cheese dressing usually contains a delicious mixture of blue cheese, mayo, buttermilk, sour cream, yogurt, milk, vinegar, onion powder, and garlic powder. It's true that most companies in the US that produce salad dressing have their own recipe for blue cheese salad dressing that they offer. Many restaurants - especially those restaurants that specialize in serving chicken wings or buffalo wings - will make their own recipe for blue cheese dressing to use as a side for dipping the wings and celery sticks. Not much is really known about where blue cheese dressing actually came from, but it is believed that blue cheese dressing was first called Roquefort dressing and appeared for the first time in 1928 in the Edgewater Hotel Salad Book.
