Planning to visit Abu Dhabi soon? See what tourism Abu Dhabi is all about and discover the extraordinary emirate of Abu Dhabi like never before through Johnny FPV’s insane drone footage.

Featuring stunning shots of the desert, the breathtaking Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, working presidential palace Qasr Al Watan, historical Qasr Al Hosn, epic Yas Marina Circuit, and majestic Jebel Hafit peak, this video will give you goosebumps! The best part is, you can visit all these places when you get to Abu Dhabi!

The Empty Quarter, also known as the Rub’ al Khali, is the world’s largest uninterrupted sand mass. Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara, set in the desert, reflects the region’s ancient cultural traditions, welcoming adventurers of all ages with warm Arabian hospitality. Falcon and Arabian Saluki (desert hunting dog) shows celebrate traditional Saluki hunting and the ancient sport of falconry, both of which have been practised for thousands of years in the UAE.

One of the world’s largest mosques, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is the only one that captures the unique interactions between Islam and other world cultures. Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque can welcome up to 55,000 worshippers and visitors every day. Completed in just over a decade, the mosque was built to embody Islam’s foremost message of peace and tolerance and welcome people of all beliefs. This is a highlight on the tourism Abu Dhabi agenda.

Qasr Al Watan is one of the few presidential headquarters in the world that has opened its doors to the public – making it one of the most unmissable places to visit in Abu Dhabi. One of the palace's most impressive attractions is the family-friendly Palace In Motion event, a spectacular light and sound show that celebrates the UAE's journey in three breathtaking acts that unfold in front of the main palace every 30 minutes after sundown. Qasr Al Watan is an exquisitely crafted tribute to Arabian heritage and artistry, with its architecture and design echoing the significance and function of the impressive exhibits and iconic rooms housed within its halls.

If you’re an F1™ fan, you have to get yourself to Yas Marina Circuit Abu Dhabi. Launched in 2009 to host the Formula 1™ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Yas Marina Circuit Abu Dhabi is still one of the UAE's most epic motorsports, sporting and business venues. Winding its way around the beautiful Yas Marina, this ultramodern F1™ race track not only offers a bespoke and captivating racing spectacle, but also extensive year-round professional and grassroots motorsports, as well as other sporting events and experiences. Think kart racing at Yas Kartzone, drag racing at Yas Drag Night, walking, running and cycling as part of the TrainYAS and GoYAS by Daman ActiveLife programmes, racing training at Yas Racing School, or corporate events in fully equipped Yas Central meeting rooms.

Just a 90-minute drive from Abu Dhabi, Al Ain is the capital's garden city, one of the world's oldest permanently inhabited settlements and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is where you’ll find Jebel Hafit mountain. Don't forget your phone when visiting this green region because it's filled with visual gems and characterful sights perfect for photos. Think lush and ancient oases you can wander through, historical forts, archaeological parks home to ancient artefacts, old-world palaces, charming camel markets, an equestrian, shooting and golf club, and vibrant souks (markets) selling authentic Emirati crafts, spices, carpets, perfumes and more.

If you’re planning a Dubai trip, visit Abu Dhabi before or after your holiday there. We’re only an hour away from Dubai by car, so once you’ve seen Dubai tourist attractions on your Dubai vacation, head to Abu Dhabi!
