The Supreme Court has remarked in the Hamza Shahbaz bail case that the facts that have come to light in the case are shameful. The Supreme Court heard the bail plea of Hamza Shahbaz. The Supreme Court sought an answer from the accountability court as to when the trial of Hamza Shahbaz would be completed. Hamza Shahbaz's lawyer Azam Nazir Tarar said that Hamza Shahbaz has been in jail for one year and seven months. Justice Mushir Alam said that it is better not to talk on merit, the facts that have come to light in the case are shameful, he did not want to make any observation at the trial level. Advertisement Justice Yahya Afridi remarked that if Hamza Shahbaz is satisfied with the case then what is the problem? It is also not appropriate to keep the accused in jail till the completion of the trial. It is also not good to leave the old cases and start new cases first. If the accused does not appear, the NAB should approach him for revocation of his bail. The NAB prosecutor took the position that 30 new accountability courts are being set up across the country, the establishment of new courts will divide the caseload, the statements of five to ten witnesses are recorded in a day.
