The atmospheric maneuverability of the
The atmospheric maneuverability of the TIE/IN Interceptor is highlighted here as the fighter performs spins & turns on a dime without a significant loss of altitude. The maneuvers are impossible under ordinary physics as the fighter appears to fly without any inertia.
A Turn Rate of 180°/second is recorded within a Turn Radius of half a dozen or so meters. The highest recorded Roll Rate is 720 °/second. Figures are approximate. Similar turn rates by A-wings and X-wings were observed at the battle of Endor when engaging the Death Star II.
From STAR WARS: "Hunted" CG Short.

For comparison, the TIE Interceptor is post-modern compared to Jet fighters on Earth.
Su-27's family is the most maneuverable aircraft in the world?
-G-limits: 9G
-Roll Rate: 270°/s
-Turn Radius: 28°/second
