Gay Life 1980 UK | Episode 2 - 'Male Gay Lifestyles'

London has more gay pubs, clubs and discos than any other part of the country. Its newest (and the country's largest) gay disco opened last month. Its gay scene is also more varied than anywhere else, and we look at three kinds of gay meeting places - drag pubs, the leather scene, and discos - and their development over the last few decades. Many gay men are deliberately cultivating a "masculine" image.
