Final service call for Lt. Michael Hoosock

Thousands of first responders from throughout New York and other states gathered at the New York State Fairgrounds on Monday, April 22. 2024, to honor Lt. Michael Hoosock. It took more than half an hour for all the uniformed officers to file into the building. Just before the service ended, a dispatcher read a final tribute to the crowd at the Expo Center and across some emergency radio frequencies. “You will forever be a role model,” the dispatcher said of Lt. Michael Hoosock.
