So this is the first
So this is the first storyboard in my drama/epic/adventure-story about Abeo and Jocundra, who emerge from a tunnel and out into the cold desert, when they were looking for their green homelands... Will Abeo and Jocundra find their home, Contineo, and most importantly; will they be accepted into the pride who owns the lands?
So for you who know my works, you might have read the story... But for you who haven't; Don't read it! it's filled with spoilers that will ruin it all! xD It explains everything about the secretive past of Abeo, and who Jocundra really is. Don't worry though, you'll get to know what everything later by watching the storyboards!
note: If you don't want spoilers, DON'T read the written story!
I decided to end the written story, and instead finish the story using storyboards. This will move the story faster and hopefully make the story and some characters more interesting.
This because; Basically because I suck at putting things down in words, I'm better with pictures... The storyboarded story will also be more secretive, move faster and explain as the story develops, hopefully making the story more unique and interesting. I'm writing more about this on the website.
Production info:
The frames from the start and to where Jocundra says "move, move!" was drawn digitally in photoshop, the rest was drawn by hand and imported to photoshop for editing. The "animation" was timed in photoshop. I then saved as a gif and imported into flash to export it as a .mov-file. Then I imported the video-file into Final Cut where I put in text, sound and music.
The whole process took about 1 week.
I spent about 1-3 minutes on each picture.
There are about 120 pictures.
The video took 5 hours to upload to youtube...
All sounds are royalty-free/public domain.
Orange font is Abeo's lines, blue for Jocundra (but you smart people probably already understood this)
