The Sacking of Rome in 1527

This segment of AP European History with Dr. Brovkin discusses the sacking of Rome in 1527 formally by the troops of Holy Roman Emperor Charles V but in facts by the mutionous and unly horde of mostly German soldiers for hire. This is an example of not war as policy by other means but war as extortion, rape and murder without any political objective, an example of freedom from any restraint, aby faith or any morality, example of bestiality of men.
