Is anyone else disappointed that Velvet Revolver only got around to making two albums? I've loved Slash's solo career ever since then, and I'm stoked about the rumors that there's a new Guns N' Roses albums in the works.....but there was still something pretty special about Velvet Revolver.

Slash is obviously one of the biggest names in the world of guitar, so he's been a major influence on me. I used to spend hours in my room as a teenager playing along to Guns N' Roses tracks, especially Sweet Child O' Mine. I'll get around to covering that solo eventually as well!

I was familiar with Slash's Snakepit, but when #velvetrevolver came out with Contraband and I heard the #guitarsolo from Fall To Pieces, I was hooked. It felt like some of the magic from GNR was back! Hope I did this solo justice!
