Highlights of the all time great Gabriel 'Flash' Elorde, then World super featherweight champion, in a lightweight contest against the gutsy Puerto Rican Frankie Narvaez, who had earned this non-title match with a close and disputed split decision over lightweight contender Johnny Bizarro.

This was also a close fight, yet this time Narvaez had issues. As did his fans, who rioted after the decision was announced. A Ringside poll of 26 sportswriters had 13 scoring for Narvaez, 9 scoring for Elorde and 4 scoring it a draw.
