Farage was launching his campaign for Reform UK when he left a Wetherspoons pub and was met by a waiting crowd, one of which was holding a milkshake - let's take a look...
There's been a series of hi-res photos shared of the incident with a young woman being snapped as the person throwing the milkshake and it's reported that a 25-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of assault.
It's not the first time this has happened to Farage having been similarly targeted in Newcastle in 2019 when he was leader of the Brexit party.
On that occasion the man who threw the milkshake was arrested and pleaded guilty to common assault and criminal damage and was forced to pay £350 compensation to Mr Farage and complete 150-hours of unpaid community service.
