Noah and I show how to make ANZAC biscuits. Here is the recipe:
Ingredients:
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup desiccated coconut
2 cups rolled oats
half a cup of butter
2 tablespoons golden syrup (or honey or maple syrup)
1 teaspoon baking soda dissolved in 3 tablespoons hot water
Method:
Melt the syrup and butter together - this took around 1 minute 10 seconds in my microwave but yours might vary.
Mix the syrup and butter mixture together with all of the other ingredients. Scoop onto a cookie sheet, flatten slightly, and bake for around 9-10 minutes at 360 degrees Fahrenheit / 180 degrees Celcius until golden.
