Ashley McDonald fell in love with chemistry in high school, but she was nearly scared off when she took organic chemistry in college. Luckily, during her sophomore year she discovered the computational chemistry research group, and the rest was history. Ashley presented her first poster at ACS Spring 2003 and has been coming to meetings for more than 20 years. "ACS has really been with me my whole chemistry career, and I really feel like it's contributed a lot to my professional development, helping me develop my leadership skills and really helping me just network and get to know a lot of great people."
