Sometimes, one might prefer looking for excuses rather than daring to believe in his/her dreams. You don't have any success guarantee, but if you crush your own tree, it's over.
And if you stop believing in your dreams, you have the guarantee to fail. So why not try? You can do it! The goal of a dream isn't just to become true, but also to enable us to be true to ourselves and achieve personal fulfillment.
You can lose everything but the person you have become.
How valuable is it to have become the person you are today?
How valuable is it to become the person you deserve to be tomorrow?
During some years, Bronnie Ware has worked in the palliative care department at the hospital. Sharing with people there their last 3 to 12 weeks of life, she lived unforgettable moments.
When they are asked if they have some kind of regrets or if they would have done certain things differently, some themes are recurring.
- "I would have liked to be courageous enough to live my life the way I wanted, and not the way people wanted it to be."
- "I would have liked not to have worked so hard".
- "I would have wanted the courage to express my feelings".
- "I would have liked to have stayed in contact with some friends".
- "I would have liked to have let me the right to be happy".
What about you, would you like to regret the last day of your life not to have done more? Or do you choose to start now doing all these things and have no regret?
When you say "yes" to your dreams, you may inspire those you love to give a chance to their own dreams. We can't know if our dreams are possible or not, therefore let's act as if everything is possible.
The first goal of a dream is to make us become alive and to give meaning to our lives, here and now. Today we have the choice. The choice to give meaning to a dream, the choice to believe in it, the choice to take action.
Give your dreams a chance. Whatever might happen, you'll be proud of yourself.
