A few weeks ago, BBC Woman's Hour host Emma Barnett interviewed Zara Mohammad--the recently-elected leader of the Muslim Council of Britain. Unfortunately, it was a textbook definition of what not to do during an interview--but it isn't anything a little bit of education cannot fix.
At Media Diversity Institute, and our project Get The Trolls Out, we have several resources to help guide reporters on how to bone up on religious literacy and report on cultures and faiths other than their own.
