If the wifi on your
If the wifi on your Linksys WRT1900AC router keeps dropping out, your work VPN is disconnecting or the router itself keeps crashing, try making this small change.
This is particularly aimed at those who may use the wifi connection on their router to connect to a work VPN. If the VPN is dropping connection frequently (a few times a day) try this setting change.
All I can say is that for us, this has made the difference between at least 1-3 disconnections per day to NONE WHATSOEVER except for other failures.
NOTE: This works perfectly for my network in the scenario I describe but may not for you. This is using 2-3 year old Linksys hardware. They may have completely changed their code and / or wifi hardware providers on newer models.
