Time for another amazing and authentic Provencal village in the south of France! COTIGNAC (125 km or 78 miles from NICE = perfect for a day trip) is labeled “one of the most beautiful villages in France“ - and you’ll see exactly why… We’ll show you the main squares and places to discover, take you into the caves hidden in the huge tuff wall overlooking the village, we’ll give you an idea of a typical lunch and go on a wine tasting.
Cotignac is part of “Provence verte”, the green Provence, and is surrounded by countless vineyards that are worth discovering, too. And while you’re in the area, we highly recommend you also visit Le Thoronet Abbey, one of the three famous Cistercian abbeys in Provence.
PS: This video was taken in summer - expect things to get a lot quieter in the off season!
