"Song of the KMU" (Awit ng KMU) - Anthem of Kilusang Mayo Uno

The Kilusang Mayo Uno (May First Movement), or KMU for short is the most prominent and militant Trade Union Centre in the Philippines. Founded on May 1, 1980, at the height of the US-Marcos dictatorship, the KMU has since then been advocating for a National Minimum Wage and a decrease in prices, the right to unionize, the removal of VAT and excise tax of oil, and land reform to the farmers (advocated in support of a separate organization, the KMP).
