53rd Annual Southwest Swap Meet Returns at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington Texas for 2022

The great Southwest Swap Meet returns at the ballpark in Arlington Texas. Its been over a decade since it was last held at the Rangers ballpark parking lot and now it's back for 2022. I remember going to the last one I believe back in either 08 or 09 before it was moved to Decatur. I'm guessing they thought since the Decatur swap meet is so popular that it was also do well there. It did not. They moved it to Texas Motor Speedway where the great Pate Swap meet is held but it kept going downhill. I never thought it would ever be back to where it began and was so successful. Well Southwest Classics in Arlington Texas became the new promoter and brought it back. Things have obviously changed since it was last at the ballpark. Arlington has grown so much and property is much more expensive now to rent now. So while it could have been a little better, it was a success in my book even with the rain on Friday. Saturday saw some light drizzle but plenty of people came out. Hopefully next year will be better.
