After Apple released its augmented
After Apple released its augmented reality glasses, the Apple Vision Pro, some camera manufacturers decided they needed to be the first to jump on the VR content production train. However, VR is essentially the same as 3D - a technology that never really took off in cinema and is of no interest to the vast majority of people. Instead of releasing standard lenses for crop sensors, Canon is releasing a stereo lens for crop sensors. And Blackmagic has even launched a new camera.
But, there is one area of filming where VR will be in demand. And today, I'll share my thoughts on all of this.
