Dragstalgia at Santapod Raceway 2024
On Saturday 6th July, I went to my favourite place, Santapod Raceway,
for the annual Dragstalgia meeting,
which if you don’t know is nostalgia drag racing, based
On how things were back in the 1960’s and 1970’s here in England.
It’s very special to me as I discovered drag racing back in 1973, and many of those cars still exist in one way or another.
Many more have been recreated.
Of course they aren’t competitive in current racing which is why nostalgia racing is so important as it means we can see them in action.
This year three cars were shipped over from the USA!
Anyway, it was an excellent day despite the terrible weather in the morning.
