In this video, we are going to look at how substances are reabsorbed from the nephron into the blood. We look at the active reabsorption of sodium, the sodium-glucose symporter, and transcytosis.
We will also encounter two new but important terms— saturation and renal threshold. We’ll learn what transport maximum is and how it relates to diabetes. Watch ‘til the end!
