Sac State exhibit utilizes fashion to bring awareness to the struggles of Iranian women

An exhibit at Sacramento State is bringing awareness to the struggles of modern Iranian women through art, history, poetry and fashion.  "The Seen Iranian Woman" is a work of art weaved through clothes, representing the adversity and pain of the last hundred years regarding what women in Iran are allowed to wear.  The messages coming out of Iran have been focused on Women, Life, Freedom -- a movement supported around the world.  Thursday marked a special commemoration of  22-year-old Mahsa Amini's death on Sept. 16, 2022, who died in the custody of morality police in Iran.
