Within Slovakia are the largest
Within Slovakia are the largest source of precious opals on the continent. These opals originated approximately 10 million years ago on the southern flank of a dying volcano. This video will discuss how these opals formed, the difference between common and precious opal, and what colors the modern opals occur in.
